AMANDA Holden and Alan Carr have revealed what’s in store for their hit BBC TV show.

Titled Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job, the BBC One format has seen the pair join forces to renovate old properties in Italy – and it’s coming back for a third series.

Previous projects have taken them to Sicily and Tuscany, but series three has a twist[/caption]

Series one took the pair to Sicily, while the second series took place in Tuscany, focusing on Amanda and Alan as they teamed up to restore a dilapidated 17th century house they purchased for just one euro.

Amanda shared the good news of the show’s return on her Instagram stories.

The 53-year-old actress and singer wrote to her 2.2 million followers: “Hola! Back together for series three”, sharing the message alongside a red heart emoji.

Although the show is coming back for another run, viewers will need to adjust to a big change.

Rather than return to Italy, Amanda and Alan will instead turn their attention to Spain.

The pair will be travelling to the province of Andalusia where they will highlight forgotten areas in the Costa Del Sol in a bid to boost tourism.

In keeping with the show’s format, they will once again take on a run-down property and tackle its renovation.

The proceeds of its eventual sale will go to Children In Need and Comic Relief.

News of the show’s renewal comes as Britain’s Got Talent returned to viewers’ screens on ITV.

Amanda has been a judge on BGT since 2007, now sitting on the panel alongside Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon and creator Simon Cowell.

The first episode of the new series included two acts being awarded ‘Golden Buzzers’, sending them straight through to the live show stage of the competition.
