CORONATION Street fans are convinced one of the stars will take a break from the cobbles to film new episodes of a Channel 5 show.

Viewers believe actress Claire could be set to take some time away from Corrie.
Crime drama The Good Ship Murder, featuring Claire, premiered on Channel 5 in October 2023.
The Good Ship Murder follows a former police detective, Jack Grayling, who finds his old job impacting his new life as a cruise ship singer when murders begin to take place on board.

Former Corrie stars Shayne Ward and Catherine Tyldesley, who play the leads, will be setting back out for a second and third voyage.
They portrayed Aidan Connor and Eva Price respectively during their time on the famed cobbles.
As for Claire, she plays the role of Beverley Carnell in the show.
Now The Good Ship Murder will be returning, Corrie fans believe Claire will take a step back from playing Cassie as a result.
One viewer wrote on X: “So that means Cassie will go out of Corrie for a couple of months while Claire films this.”
Corrie is not Claire’s first soap opera experience, having played Lindsay Corkhill in Brookside from 1991 to 1992 and again from 1995 to 2003.
