SHAMED Towie star Mike Hassini has something to celebrate – announcing his girlfriend is expecting their first baby.
The ex-reality star – who was released from prison nine months ago after serving time for supplying cocaine– will become a dad with his girlfriend Jessica Milford, confirming the news today.
Jessica shared pictures of the baby scan on Instagram to announce their upcoming arrival.
A source told Daily Mail:“Family has always been very important to [Mike] and knowing he’s finally going to have a baby means the world to both him and Jessica.
“Going to prison massively changed his perspective on life and everything he wants to achieve, he knows how lucky he is to have a second chance and he’s so appreciative of Jessica, who’s stuck by him through thick and thin.”
Mike was sent to prison in December 2021 after being caught exchanging £70,000 worth of cocaine with accomplice Gary Bear.
When police searched Hassini’s car, he told them he had “around £36,000 pounds in cash, although he had not counted it yet”.
The reality star had also stashed three smaller blocks of cocaine and other drug paraphernalia at Jessica’s parent’s home.
She was arrested on suspicion of drug dealing but released after it became clear she was not involved in the drug operation.
He was handed a six year and nine month sentence after he admitted a string of drug offences.
However, he was released in September 2023, just two years into his sentence, and has maintained a low profile away from the public eye ever since.
Jessica, the daughter of an oil tycoon, stood by Mike’s side throughout his time in prison, and the pair celebrated their reunion by heading on holiday together.
Mike is best known for appearing on Towie from 2015 to 2018, when a huge cast cull saw him being given the axe.
Shortly after his exit, Mike was spared jail for his role in a £450,000 diamond investment scam in November 2018.
He admitted his part in the fraud that ran from late 2014 to February 2016.
Hassini got a 15-month jail sentence, suspended for 18 months, after he admitted money laundering at Basildon Crown Court.
The judge also ordered him to do 200 hours unpaid work.
