After receiving an incredible Rotten Tomatoes score of 100% and impressing viewers, another term is on the way.
Announcing the news, the BBC also confirmed Josh Tedeku, Jodie Campbell, Sekou Diaby, Myles Kamwendo and Aruna Jalloh will all reprise their roles.
Meanwhile, new additions to the cast include Harry Gilby, Tallulah Greive, Rosie Graham, Assa Kanouté, Niky Wardley and Derek Riddell.
Series two of Boarders will see headmaster Bernard suspended following a rebellion at the school.
He was initially responsible for getting the five youngsters into the elite boarding school.
Taking over from him is Carol Watlington-Geese – who makes it clear she wants the students gone.
Fans can expect six brand new, 45 minute long episodes of Boarders when it returns to BBC One.
Speaking about the recommission, its writer, creator and executive producer Daniel Lawrence Taylor said: “The response to the first series has been incredibly inspiring, and I’m thrilled to announce the arrival of our second!
“What I’ve cherished most about creating this series is showcasing Black experiences on screen and seeing how it resonates with everyone.
“While race can sometimes divide us, the emotions of feeling different, isolated, or trying to fit in are truly universal. I’m especially excited to collaborate with the cast again; they are all budding superstars, and I’m overjoyed to see them bring my words to life once more! I can’t wait for you to see it!”
