A BBC BREAKFAST star has sparked fears she’s quit the show after landing a brand new gig.
Sally Nugent left fans stunned as she’s been missing from the flagship show for the past two days.
But on Monday afternoon she anchored the BBC News at One from its brand new home in Manchester.
It comes as it was previously announced how BBC Breakfast stars would host the bulletin on rotation following its shakeup.
However, fans at home were left concerned the new job would result in Sally‘s exit from Breakfast.
One said: “Oh has Sally left Breakfast?”
A second wrote: “Good use of the BBC breakfast sofa! Will miss @sallynugent on breakfast.”
“Most excellent but does this disrupt my early morning viewing when I expect to see you and @sallynugent on the sofa,” questioned a third.
Quickly responding to concerns, Sally’s co-host Jon Kay assured fans she’s not going anywhere.
He simply said: “Nooooooooo!!!!!”
Last week the Beeb revealed Jon Kay, Sally Nugent and Nina Warhurst would front the new hour-long News at One.
They’ll host on rotation alongside existing BBC News anchors Ben Brown, Anna Foster and Tina Daheley.
