CAIN Dingle reconnects with an old friend amid his exit for a fresh start with his son Kyle Winchester.
Emmerdale fans are fearful for Cain Dingle actor Jeff Hordley’s future on the ITV soap as his character decides to leave the Dales for good.
Cain’s son Kyle (Huey Quinn) has had a tough start in life and after accidentally killing Cain’s nemesis Al Chapman, he had to watch as his beloved dad took the fall and was sent to prison.
The truth eventually came out, but Cain lost custody of his 10-year-old son to Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson) as the investigation went on, breaking the young lad’s heart.
When all was concluded, the two were finally reunited, only for Kyle to suffer at the hands of bullies who attacked him over what had happened to his family.
Since then, the Dingle family have overcome many more trials – including most recently losing Isaac’s beloved lamb Minty and forcing the village to mount a rescue mission.
However, Cain is distraught to learn that his fragile son is back suffering at the hands of bullies and make a life-changing decision.
He makes the decision to move his family away from the village for a better future.
Will his partner Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) go with him?
Before he leaves, Cain makes sure he meets his old friend Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson).
Sharing a beer, Cain reminds Liam that he cares about how Liam’s doing.
Liam made a big decision regarding his new love interest Ella Forster (Paula Lane).
Ella arrived onto the Dales earlier this year and she has struck up a romance with local doctor.
Ella panicked when Liam suggested staying at her place although she was able to deflect his offer.
Ella was later shown to be bedding down in her car, clearly lacking a permanent place to stay.
Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker), while on her morning run, found Ella sleeping in her car.
An embarrassed Ella begged Manpreet not to tell Liam, but was left furious when Manpreet clumsily admitted to Liam that she found Ella sleeping in her car.
After some discussion between the pair, Liam suggested that Ella moved into the spare room at Tenant House to which she agreed to.
Mandy (Lisa Riley) asked about Ella’s family as she moved her stuff into the house.
After Ella spotted an old photograph in Mandy’s hands, she snapped at her, leaving Mandy confused.
Liam and Ella navigate their relationship while adjusting to living together, with Liam bemused when Ella refused to let the photographer take her picture and dashed off.
While out in the beer garden, Mandy advised Liam to make sure Ella has no skeletons in the closet before things get serious between them.
Meanwhile Ella’s rattled by Liam’s intrusive questions and quickly darted out of the house, later visiting a care home.
The revelations keep on coming after Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) found out that Ella isn’t her real name.
Now viewers think Ella could be connected to serial killer Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) after spotting a clue in last night’s episode.
A newspaper was next to Ella’s bag and had Meena on it.
Some fans are sure Ella and Meena were pictured together in her childhood photo, while others suggested they might have met up in prison and are cooking up a revenge scheme together.
Ella has freaked out at the mention of Meena while becoming closer with Liam, the dad of one of her victims.
Could Ella be linked to Meena?
