She has Erb’s Palsy, a condition that means one of her arms is shorter than the other and has less function.

The birth defect occurred after Patsy was delivered naturally rather than via Caesarean section.

Patsy said that she has learned plenty of tricks that help to make her life easier with her disability.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun she praised the Love Island team for their support.

“I’ve had loads of conversations with producers and all other members of the team and I’m definitely being well looked after. And they’ve covered all bases,” she said.

“No stone has been left unturned when it comes to ‘am I happy to go in there and get involved with day to day activities’ and stuff like that.”

She explained that viewers will be able to see how she has to adapt in order to carry out everyday tasks.

“There are things that will be interesting I guess, for other people to see on camera that I can’t do. I struggle to put my hair up and stuff. But I always just kind of find something to rest my arm on, or I often  – you’ll probably see me in there – I’m using my friend’s shoulder to put my arm on, so I can lift it up and do my hair.”

“So you’ll definitely as as the show plays out, you’ll be able to see things I can and can’t do.”

Patsy has also spoken with her followers on social media about her disability.

“One thing you guys don’t know about me is I have a disability,” she said.

“I have never spoken about it on here before because I am a bit self-conscious about it to be honest.

“Pretty much everyone says they don’t notice it, or they have never noticed it before but once I tell you go back and look through my old videos, you’ll be able to spot it.”

Patsy went onto slam the hospital where she was born, and told fans: “I was a normal, happy, healthy baby in my mama’s womb and the hospital f***ed up and gave me a disability, you f***ers.

“I should have been a cesarean birth, but the midwife thought she could do it and she couldn’t… I was such a big baby, I was almost 11lb, a normal baby is like 7lb.

“I got stuck coming out of my mum… and they’re pulling and pulling and pulling and in the process of yanking me out, they have done some damage.

“They snapped the nerve that sends messages down from my brain down my spine to my right arm, messages are trying to send, and this computer says no.”

Patsy will enter the Love Island villa on June 3, 2024, when the show kicks off.
