THE Strictly Come Dancing pros reunited on stage this weekend for the final leg of their tour without Giovanni Pernice.

The stars looked happier than ever amid the show’s ongoing investigation into their former co-star – as they arranged a huge surprise for one dancer.

Emotional Amy Dowden, 33, revealed the moment on Instagram this evening where she gushed over her co-stars for their support.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, she underwent a full mastectomy and finished her chemotherapy at the end of 2023.

It meant she was unable to dance in the most recent series of Strictly or join her co-stars in the tour line-up.

Last night she shared videos and photos from the audience, after going to see her pals perform on the penutimate night of the tour.

She penned: “This! Argh I needed this last night! Just brilliant and so inspired. I wanted to be up there with you all, and then this happened…”

Amy followed it up by posting a string of videos showing her being pulled onto the stage and carried across it by Vito Coppola.

Karen Hauer and Neil Jones danced around Amy as Graziano di Prima made a fuss of the Welsh star, who was forced to step away from the series last year.

One show star who has been notably absent is Giovanni Pernice after he quit Strictly amid a legal war between himself and three of his former dance partners.

He reportedly left them “traumatised” following their stint on the dance contest – which he has denied.

However, in the wake of the scandal, Strictly bosses are planning to boost the show’s feelgood factor by signing up a “real community hero”.

Bank Of Dave star Dave Fishwick, 52, who featured in two popular documentaries, has bagged a spot.

A source said: “Dave is a real community hero and the best of British.

“Strictly think his inspiring back story will win him new fans on and shine a spotlight on the amazing work he has done for people and business in Lancashire.

“Dave has told his friends he has accepted and cannot wait to get started.”

Dave left school at 16 with no qualifications before running a minibus business.

He founded independent lender Burnley Savings and Loans in 2011, and its birth featured in Channel 4’s 2012 series Bank Of Dave.
