The Greenock-born telly performer was seen filming for the new Amazon Prime series ‘Fear’ in the city.

He strolled through the sunny park with costar Anjli Mohindra as they shot scenes for the psychological thriller.

The pair were accompanied by a huge film crew.

Vigil actor Compston appears to share a laugh with his co-star as it appeared they messed up one of their lines during a hilarious take.

He was also spotted elsewhere shooting scenes for the thriller, which is being filmed entirely in Glasgow.

The TV anti-corruption cop was seen behind the wheel of an old Mercedes motor as he admired his new on-screen home in Glasgow’s plush Park Circus.

Compston will play Martyn in the three-part series on the streaming giant.

Anjli Mohindra, who also starred in Vigil as the naval sub’s medical officer, will play his wife Rebecca.

The series, based on Dirk Kurbjuweit’s book of the same name, follows the couple as they abandon London for a new life in Glasgow with their two young children.

But the pair’s fresh start north of the border takes a dark turn.

Their nightmare begins when neighbour Jan makes a remark which hints at the sinister situation at their new home.

Soon the couple face horror accusations and soon find themselves with no one to help them.

Fear is being produced by film company Wild Mercury, which also produced another Scotland-based drama for the streaming platform.

The firm produced Amazon Prime thriller The Rig– which saw workers on a north sea oil rig off the coast of Aberdeen face off against supernatural forces brought by a mysterious fog.

Fear is set to air on Amazon Prime in 2025.
