“It’s definitely going to happen, I’m looking forward to it – it’s something different for the show as well. I’ve got to work my magic.
“It will be good to just see how they are and chat to them one by one.”
He added: “I’m definitely going to use it to my advantage.”
Before entering the villa, Sam worked works at a salon in Sheffield.
The stylist also boasts over 4,000 followers on Instagram, where he regularly shares snaps of his incredible haircuts.
He warned his new fellow Islanders that when it comes to his profession, appearances might be deceiving: “I’d say not to judge a book by its cover because how I look compared to what I do for work might not necessarily add up.
“You wouldn’t look at me as a tall guy covered in tattoos and think that I make girls’ hair look pretty for a living.”
Discussing why he wants to do the show, he revealed: “At this point in my life I just want the opportunity to find a real connection with someone.
“I’ve been looking for that connection for quite some time but I’ve never really found it — I’m hoping I find that spark in the Villa.”
Sam will be entering the villa alongside a cast that is much more career oriented than the usual roll-call of models and influencers.
