But Mimi has confessed Islanders don’t find out if they’ve made the cut until after they’ve jetted to Mallorca.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: “I had the conversation with the execs when I arrived here that I’d be heading in.”

Asked if that’s how it generally works, Mimi confessed that it is.

Which means Mimi has had a long wait to find out whether or not she’d be moving into the villa, having applied last summer.

She said: “I applied in August and then I completely forgot about it to be honest until I got the call in January.”

The aim of the game is to find a connection and Mimi has got a good idea of the kind of man she’s hoping to meet in the villa.

“I just want a man who is confident, who walks in and knows exactly what he wants. Ideally, I’d want him to have eyes only for me,” Mimi explained.

“I want him to be funny and mature… but also goofy and fun.”

The couples in the villa are tested throughout the series with the arrival of bombshells – but Mimi insists it’s hard to turn her head.

She said: “I’m quite loyal to the core but it’s more that I’m loyal when I’m 100 per cent sure about the situation.

“In there, if I’m not sure about the man I’m with or if someone walks in who’s more a bit of me then I could potentially want to get to know them. But I’m all about honesty.”
