LOVE Island fans are excited for a “genius” new Hideaway twist that is set to stir up trouble.
The Sun revealed that for the first time ever the Hideaway is open at all hours– and as the sign above the door says ‘No Invite Needed’.
Love Island fans are loving the new Hideaway twist[/caption] it’s only open to those who AREN’T in a couple[/caption]But there’s a twist, it’s only open to those who AREN’T in a couple, which could really stir the pot.
Many fans are thrilled for the new shake-up and said it’s going to cause some much-needed mayhem in the villa.
One person wrote: “Go into the hideaway with a bombshell, do some bits, come back to your partner as if nothing happened (or lie about what happened) and then be exposed during movie night.”
A second posted: “That sounds so messy, I love it,” while a third said: “
I’m already loving the drama.”
This viewer shared: “Imagine if they had this last year and someone like Leah could just come and take Ty into the hideaway instead having of doing her work in front of Ella staring them down?????? Love this idea!!!!”
Discussing the new format, Love Island’s executive producer Mike Spencer told us from the villa last night: “It’s now No Invite Needed. So it could be the sexiest series ever!
“I think the series is really sexy anyway but we’ll always take more. We want it to be fun. Young, sexy, single people come abroad and hopefully find love.”
Explaining how it will work in the Moulin Rouge themed boudoir, he continued: “At the moment, this is work in progress, but you shouldn’t be in a couple to go in there.
“Sometimes by default or recouplings you might end up in a friendship, so the idea is that there’s no invite needed as long as you’re not in a couple.
“It’s going to be organic and natural, it might not be a useful space but I think it was fair to change it up a little bit for series 11.”
He added: “It’s been a staple for so long it’s good to change things up a bit.”
And it seems anything will go this series, with Mike saying: “If you were in a couple, you could technically go in with someone else. It’s going to be chaos!
“We’re up for anything, we’re up for changes. There’s so many dating shows on TV and there’s a real reason we’re in season 11 and not be afraid to do something different.”
The villa itself has had a huge glow up – and looks better than ever.
As well as a lick of paint there’s a number of other noticeable changes.
For starters, when you enter there are three large hearts rather than one for Maya’s famous slow mo walk.
