EAMONN Holmes and Ruth Langsford had tried to find ways to spice up a marriage – by visiting a sex dungeon back in 2017.
The couple, who announced they had split this weekend, often had a professional partnership on screen as well, most notably with This Morning.

Eamonn and Ruth, who married in 2010, tried a host of ways to keep things wild in the bedroom, at one point visiting a dominatrix’s sex dungeon to get some tips.
The dungeon, filled with sex swings, whips and dangerous looking contraptions, was owned by a woman named Mistress Komakino, who teaches couples how to roleplay.
Soon, Ruth was being taught the intricacies of being a dominatrix in the bedroom, using a whip on a man who was tied to a bed, and wearing a latex outfit.
The Mistress went on to explain how she helps couples bring the spark back into their relationships by teaching them new tips and tricks.
She then demanded that Ruth look into her eyes.
“Come on, I want to see that power coming from you,” she told her.
“You are strong, powerful, you’re gonna spank him really, really good.”
Eamonn then fearfully interjected, “Him, not me.”
However it didn’t quite turn out as planned with Ruth declaring: “Oh I don’t like hurting people!” causing Eamonn to step in.
It turns out he had a more natural affinity to the activity, giving the man a good spanking telling him, “This is Ruth!”
In fact he did such a great job at spanking the leather clad man, that Mistress Komakino offered him a job… which Eamonn politely declined.
Eamonn and Ruth confirmed this weekend they had ended their 27-year relationship and 14-year marriage.
END OF AN ERA
A spokesperson for the couple said in a statement to The Sun on Sunday: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”
The couple, who have been married for 14 years, have since refused to discuss the issue further, with Eamonn posting about the FA Cup final online while Ruth spent time with her mother, Joan.
The once-strong couple, who were also a presenting duo on This Morning until 2020, are believed to have grown apart as their careers went in different directions.
While sources have said they are ‘dedicated to making the split amicable’, Eamonn has already left the family home for a property nearby.
The couple have one son together, 22-year-old Jack.
