The BBC Breakfast host looked radiant at her much-loved weather map as co-star Sally Nugent returned to screens.
The brunette anchor was missing yesterday with Nina Warhurst taking her spot on the big red sofa.
Meanwhile, telly fave Carol was all smiles as she delivered the forecast to her loyal army of viewers.
She said: “We’ve got rain coming in from the southwest, pushing northeastwards throughout the day.
“Behind it, we see a return to sunshine and some scattered showers.”
The bubbly blonde donned a floral-print black frock with pearl earrings and stylish jewellery.
