CORONATION Street fans were left stunned as they spotted a Hollyoaks legend on the show.
The actress made a surprise cameo as a love interest for Adam Barlow.

Gemma Merna played the popular role of Carmel McQueen in the Channel 4 soap between 2006 and 2014.
Ten years later she has found herself in Weatherfield playing newcomer Rebecca.
She was introduced as a new potential client for Adam and they enjoyed a business meeting at the Chariott Square Hotel.
However, things quickly turned from business to pleasure after the pair flirted up a storm during their meeting.
It led Adam to call off any other plans he had later in the day in order to take Rebecca home as things got steamy between the two.
Enjoying passionate snogs, Adam suggested they go to his flat but after he admits that his office is empty, Rebecca becomes thrilled at the thought of some alone time in the solicitor’s.
Unfortunately, the office wasn’t empty as Alya had opted to take one of Adam’s meetings herself which put an end to the rendezvous.
As well as getting hot under the collar, fans were left double taking at realising it was Gemma who had taken on the role of the saucy character.
Writing on X – formerly Twitter – one fan said: “Was that Rebecca that Adam met the same actress who played Carmel McQueen in Hollyoaks? #Corrie.”
Another added: “Wait is that Carmel McQueen in #Corrie?”
A third penned: “I knew she looked familiar, it’s Gemma Merna (Carmel McQueen) from #Hollyoaks #Corrie.”
Whilst a fourth said: “Carmel on the cobbles!!!! #corrie #coronationstreet.”
Whilst it isn’t yet known if Rebecca will be back, Gemma was left thrilled to announce she would be stepping onto the cobbles as she confirmed her role last month.
Writing on social media, Gemma Merna said: “The news is out. I’ve been keeping a little secret. I am thrilled to announce that I’ve landed my dream job on @coronationstreet!
“Can you believe it?! I’ve wanted to be on Coronation Street since I was a little girl. Being born and bred in Manchester, it’s truly a dream come true for me.
“It’s been on my vision board for over 10 years, and finally, I got the chance to walk the cobbles. I can’t even believe I’m writing this.”
