Who is Love Island’s Harriett Blackmore? Meet the dancer with a YouTuber bestie and ties to a British rapper

SERIES 11 of Love Island is almost here, with an all-new cast of girls and guys looking for love in the villa.

Here, we get to know Harriett Blackmore, who has been revealed as one of this years hopefuls.

Who is Love Island 2024 contestant Harriett Blackmore?

Every year thousands of hopefuls apply to enter the famous villa, with a view to finding their soulmate.

However only a select few are chosen to appear on the show in Majorca.

Harriett Blackmore from Brighton is one of the select few that will appear in the latest series of the reality show.

She says that she’ll bring something for both the boys and girls in the villa.

She said: “For the boys, entertainment, a bit of fun and flirting. I’ll definitely up the flirting. For the girls, I’m a really good friend.”

She went on to say: “I’ll bring the entertainment for everyone in the Villa,  whether that’s making the girls laugh or making the boys turn their heads, I’m sure that I’ll bring the drama.”

What does Harriett Blackmore do for a living?

Harriet is a dancer and personal shopper.

She has revealed that one of her most recent jobs involved being a personal shopper for a well-known musical artist, as well as being friends with a famous YouTuber.

She said: “Being a bit of an IT girl in Brighton, I’ve done personal shopping for the rapper Arrdee and one of my best friends is Saffron Barker the YouTuber.”

When is Harriett Blackmore on Love Island?

You can catch Harriett on Love Island when the series starts on Monday, June 3 at 9pm.

She will be joined by ten other singletons who are all looking for a hot summer of love.

As the weeks continue, the islanders will be joined by a host of new bombshells that will be sure to spice things up.

The Sun revealed how the famous villa has undergone a transformation in time for the new series.

How can you watch Love Island 2024?

For launch night, The Sun revealed that ITV bosses are planning a huge shake-up that has never been done before.

The first episode will air on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX simultaneously, with the rest of the series being shown on ITV2 and ITVX.

The show will be shown at 9pm, Sunday to Friday.

On Saturdays, a highlights programme will be shown in place of the normal show.

A source said: “ITV want to throw their weight behind Love Island and make sure it has a big, glitzy moment when the 11th series kicks off next month.

“Showing it across every channel means creating what they hope will be a big TV moment. It shows there is still a real commitment to the format even nine years on.”

2022 –Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu’s time in the villa was anything but a smooth ride, but they managed to win the public’s hearts – and the ITV2 reality show. STATUS: Broken up.

2021 –Liam Reardon and Millie Court were announced winners of Love Island 2021.STATUS: Still together.

2020 – The first ever winter Love Island saw Paige Turley and Finn Tapp crowned winners after falling in love on the show. STATUS: Broken up.

2019 – Series 5 saw Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague runners up to winners Greg O’Shea and Amber Gill, who met in the last few days of the series. STATUS: Broken up.

2018 – It wasn’t surprising fan favourites Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer won the show, as they were strong throughout. But sadly things didn’t last. STATUS: Broken up.

2017 –Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies had lots of ups and downs in the villa but went on to win the show. STATUS: Broken up.

2016– Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde were together form the start of the series, and since they won show have two kids and are married. STATUS: Still together.

2015 – Despite poor Jess Hayes being Max Morley’s second choice on the show, they did win – but they didn’t last as a couple. STATUS: Broken up.
