Hours before, Nicki live-streamed her own arrest while at the airport after being accused of “carrying drugs” with her on the plane to the UK, something Nicki has denied.
The rapper filmed Amsterdam Airport Schipol employees as she accused them of forcing her to send her bags through security a second time.
Capturing the incident on Instagram Live, Nicki was informed she needed to go to the police station in the back of a van.
She later messaged fans on X (previously Twitter) to apologie.
Nicki wrote: “Thank you to everyone who prayed for me today. May God cover you & all that is connected to you. May you be blessed beyond your imagination.
“I’m at the stock exchange hotel in Manchester I arrived a little over an hour ago.
“After sitting in a jail cell for 5-6 hours, my plane still didn’t take off for another 20 mins once I boarded.”
She added: “Please please please accept my deepest & most sincere apologies.
“I’ll find a way to not only make up the date with the performance but I’m going to create an added bonus for everyone that had a ticket for this show. Promise.”
THE AIRPORT INCIDENT
In the clip, Nicki, filmed an airline crew member from the inside of her black vehicle via Instagram Live.
The man, wearing a gray suit with a red tie, leaned into the car as she asked him to repeat himself for the camera.
“The police officer told me we have to offload all the luggage and to search everything of your luggage,” he explained.
“I’m so sorry to say that,” the airline representative added.
Nicki replied, “But wasn’t that what you planned on doing from the get-go? Why didn’t you guys search it before it went on the plane?”
The man responded, “They did just a random quick check, but now they want to open it.”
“Why?” the pop star asked, to which he replied with a shrug, “First of all, because you filmed him.”
Nicki asked, “Because I filmed him?”
“Yeah, he doesn’t believe you that you don’t have more with you than you say,” the airline rep explained.
“No, he asked me, ‘Do I have any more in those purses?’ and I said, ‘No,’ and I asked him where are my bags?” the rapper said.
“They took my bags and put them on the plane before I could know what bags are on the plane.”
The airline crew member replied with another shrug, saying, “I’m so sorry for that.”
“Okay, of course,” Nicki quipped back as the video cut out.
NICKI’S ACCUSATIONS
The Barbie World singer captioned her post, “They’ve been trying to stop me from coming to every show.
“They took my bags before I could see them. Put it on the plane. Now saying, they’re waiting on customs.”
“This is what it looks like when ppl are paid big money to try to sabotage a tour after all else failed. Everything they’ve done is illegal,” she claimed.
