The Canadian actor sat down with King in LA to promote his new kids film ‘IF’, with his 17-year-old co-star Cailey Fleming for the ITV daytime show.

But during the chat, Reynolds opened up on his fondness of Lorraine.

The star said: “I love Lorraine, we always have a nice chat when we hang out.”

King then decided to quiz Reynolds on his knowledge of Scottish football.

He asked him if he knew the clubs both he and host Lorraine supported.

King said to Reynolds: “Lorraine and I are two big football fans.

“Two teams who you may not have heard of: her team Dundee United, my team Partick Thistle.”

With a somewhat puzzled look on his fave, Reynolds replied: “Partick Thistle, I don’t know.

“Dundee United – I know that one!”

Reynolds and fellow A-Lister Rob McElhenney took control of Wrexham back in 2020.

And their backing has helped the club enjoy a somewhat seismic rise through the English football system.

They secured promotion out of the National League as champions, returning to the EFL for the first time in 15 years.

And earlier today, Disney+ confirmed that their award winning show Welcome to Wrexham is set to return for a fourth season next year.

The docu-series has charted the story of the Welsh football team’s rise to fame after Reynolds and McElhenney bought the club.

Locals were surprised by the move, and several members of the fan trust that originally owned Wrexham AFC even voted against the takeover.

But the actors worked hard to gain the trust of the local community, investing in local schemes and hiring voluntary staff like Wrexham’s disability liaison officer.
