However, it seems that has not lasted long as they have received a first look at his replacement Don Gilet on the BBC set.

Now his co-star Don Warrington, 72, has given fans a sneak peak into the new series of Death In Paradise.
He shared some behind the scenes snaps onto his Instagram grid page, much to the delight of the fanbase.
In the string of images, he can be seen filming new scenes in a variety of locations in front of the cameras.
Various crew members carry more technical equipments such as lights and boom microphones as he shoots the upcoming series.
Some fans have noticed that he is dressed in a new livery as he converses with his new colleague.
The actor captioned the album: “Back to work
#deathinparadise.”
Now, the die-hard fans of the show seemed to welcome the actor with open arms as they flooded the comments section.
One fan exclaimed: “Ahhhh, this is why I love the winter season, Christmas etc.. Just to watch Death in Paradise.”
