EMMERDALE fans were horrified as Manpreet Sharma attempted to seduce married man Billy Fletcher.
In scenes airing in Monday’s episode (April 29), viewers saw Manpreet (played by Rebecca Sarker) continue to develop a crush on her physical trainer Billy (played by Jay Kontzle).

Ella (Paula Lane), who arranged the night out, pulled Manpreet aside to ask if she had feelings for Billy, who is married to Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley).
As for Manpreet, her partner is vicar Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin).
“So Billy’s why you’ve been so miserable”, Ella said as Manpreet spilled on the beans on her “stupid schoolgirl crush.”
Manpreet revealed: “Ever since Charles popped the question and I popped his bubble, things haven’t been great between us.
“There’s this weird distance thing and Billy bench-presses his way in, pays me compliments and makes me feel good.”
Manpreet reiterated her commitment to Charles and said Billy was ‘oblivious’ to how she was feeling about him.
Later scenes, however, told a different story altogether as Billy was leaving The Woolpack.
Manpreet tried to kiss Billy, but was unaware she had been seen[/caption]Grabbing onto his arm, Manpreet asked Billy to stay and have another drink, which she offered to buy.
After Billy said he had work and needed to go, Manpreet maintained her grip on his arm and said “well, it looks like we’re stuck together.”
Shortly after, Manpreet tried to kiss Billy, unaware she had been seen by Charles’ mother, Claudette (Flo Wilson).
It remains to be seen when Claudette will tell Charles about what she saw.
Manpreet arrived on the ITV soap back in 2018.
Her storylines to date include a relationship and later marriage to Rishi Sharma (Bhasker Patel).
Their marriage lasted until 2022 and Rishi was killed off the following year in an unannounced departure.
