Telly fave Jean shared the nostalgic snap with her loyal army of Instagram followers.

In a throwback snap, the A Place In The Sun host posted an old school pic with her pal Debbie.

Jean looks fresh-faced with her hair styled in a face-framing bun which is paired with a blue patterned top.

And years after the vintage snaps, Jean looks younger than ever in a recent picture with her good friend.

The bubbly presenter was all smiles and wore a classy top with a trendy white collar.

She wrote online: “How it started. How it’s going.

JEAN IS TWO DOORS DOWN

BY MATT BENDORIS

JEAN hit it off with Rangers fan Grado when they filmed last year’s Hogmanay show, because he kept quizzing her about her husband’s Ibrox career.

They teamed up for STV’s Bringing In The Bells, which saw some of Scotland’s best-loved celebrities discuss the top telly moments of 2023.

Jean says she loved being paired with the wrestler, real name Graeme Stevely, below, because of his love for Jonatan Johanasson’s title-winning team.

The former Finnish international played at Ibrox from 1997 to 2000.
She says: “I adore Grado. He just makes me laugh. You don’t see about 90 per cent of what he says as you couldn’t put it out on telly.

“All he wants to talk about is Rangers and, in particular, the squad Jonatan was in. So we have that in common.

“I bump into him quite a bit in the players’ lounge at Ibrox. He’s a mad Rangers fan and I love that.”

She adds: “I’m just so glad STV came up with this format as I’m so sick of the ceilidhs and old-fashioned Hogmanay shows.

“They’ve brought it into the present and made it cool. I hope I team up with Grado again.”

“Old friends are the best. Happy birthday.”

Jean is famed for a string of hugely-popular TV hits and recently took the helm of Channel 4’s Key to a Fortune.

The presenter previously spoke of her relief at finally being able to switch up her outfits on her new TV property show.

The Scot, who co-hosts the popular Channel 4 series, famously has to wear the exact same clothes for continuity purposes while filming abroad.

On Key To A Fortune, which reunites families with homes, Jean could change clobber as she pleased.

She says: “It’s a big bonus with this new show that I can swap my outfits as much as I wish, unlike A Place In The Sun where we try to make it look like we have everything wrapped up in one day.
