STILL Game’s Winston Ingram is no stranger to the boozer – and the same goes for the star who plays him.

The one-legged pensioner has been involved in a string of memorable moments in the fictional Clansman and was previously chucked out after a booze-fuelled bust-up with Bobby the barman.

And now actor Paul Riley, 54, is making memories of his own as he knocks back a cold Tennents in Slipstream pub in Dumfries.

The Scots star visited the English Street watering hole ahead of his touring stage show.

His stand-up routine, The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot, discusses his colourful career including the time he partied with Motörhead.

But before hitting the stage Paul kicked back with a beer in a nearby pub.

An online post reads: “Paul Riley (aka Winston) from Still Game came to visit our friends at Slipstream Dumfries before his show The Cairndale tomorrow night!

“Unfortunately Bobby the barman wasn’t pulling the pints tonight.”

Fans couldn’t get enough and rushed online to tag their pals in the post

One punter wrote: “OMG”

It comes after Paul’s co-star Sanjeev Kohli revealed he’s eyeing up a role on an iconic telly show five years after the sitcom ended.

The Navid actor reckons he’s got what it takes to bag a spot on the BBC hit.
