FERN Britton will make an appearance on a beloved BBC show fresh from her stint on Celebrity Big Brother.
The 66-year-old former This Morning presenter is set to appear in an upcoming episode of Songs of Praise with host Sean Fletcher.
Fern took part in this year’s Celebrity Big Brother[/caption] The presenter, 66, co-hosted This Morning until 2009[/caption]First broadcast in October 1961, Songs of Praise is a religious programme with music at its heart.
Until November 2014, the show featured hymns sung by congregations of churches and cathedrals as well as interviews with people from the church where the episode was broadcast.
However, the programme later adopted a more varied style in which there is no longer a single location where the music and stories come from each week.
Sean also hosts Countryfile for the BBC[/caption]In addition to Sean, the current presenting line-up includes singers Aled Jones, Katherine Jenkins and JB Gill, a member of the boyband JLS.
Sean, 50, who is also a presenter on Good Morning Britain and Countryfile, shared a snap of himself and Fern on his Instagram story.
He wrote to his 22 thousand followers: “Filming #songsofpraise @bbcone with the lovely @fernbritton in the Cornish sun (and a fair few clouds too).”
Fern starred in this year’s series of Celebrity Big Brother alongside the likes of Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh, Ekin-Su Cülcuüloglu and eventual winner David Potts.
She reached the final and was the last remaining woman in the competition.
Fern finished in fifth place, behind David, Strictly Come Dancing professional Nikita Kuzmin, Coronation Street star Colson Smith and Louis.
During her time on the programme, Fern clashed with Nikita, 26, following a misunderstanding although they later resolved the issue.
