STEVE McDonald finds himself in a new love twist as he goes on a date with THREE women in Coronation Street.
The character – played by Simon Gregson – was left emotionally wounded after wife Tracy cheated on him with his footballing icon Tommy Orpington earlier this year.
Steve tried to salvage the marriage but Tracy said she was bored of their life together before heading off on a new adventure to Spain with Tommy.
However, Steve hasn’t let the grass grow under his feet and recently signed up to a dating website.
In the cab office in upcoming Coronation Street scenes, an upbeat Steve tells Tim that since he joined the new dating site, he’s had three matches.
In the café, Steve shows Abi and Kevin a picture of Maggie, a potential date, and as Kevin makes sexist remarks, Abi storms out in a huff.
A delighted Steve tells Tim that Maggie has agreed to meet him for lunch in the Bistro.
Later in the week, a nervous Steve meets up with another internet date – Carole – in the Rovers, but he’s thrown to discover she’s brought three friends with her.
One of them – Aurora – invites Tim to join them and refuses to take no for an answer.
When Sally calls at the pub and spots Tim with a drunken woman, giggling like a school boy, how will she react?
With the date not going to plan, Steve is downbeat and tells daughter Amy he’s had enough of dating apps, but he quickly changes his tune when he sees a message from Demi.
As Steve prepares for his date he tells Amy that he’s convinced Demi’s the one.
Steve meets up with Demi in the Rovers and they hit it off immediately.
Is his luck finally about to change?
