LOVE Island’s Tom Clare made a cryptic dig at Georgia Steel in a gushing post about Molly Smith.
The footballer who won last year’s All Stars with Molly celebrated her 30th birthday.
Sharing a selection of sweet snaps of the couple, Tom said that Molly was “everything he wanted in a girl”.
Tom dated Georgia on the programme before finding love with Molly.
He branded Georgia the ‘snakiest’ person in the villa in a recent podcast appearance.
But in his soppy post, he called his girlfriend “trustworthy” and said he didn’t think he would meet anyone in the villa.
The cover photo was of the couple on a white sandy beach in Dubai.
“Going back on to Love Island I didn’t think I’d meet anyone but I found exactly that, you’re everything I want in a girl, Beautiful, honest, trustworthy, classy, the list could go on,” he wrote in the caption.
“I’m so glad I met you and can’t wait for our future together, I love your family and my family adore you which is huge for me,” he continued.
“We’re always none stop laughing and making memories to last a lifetime which is what’s it’s all about,”
“I’m so proud of you and everything you’re doing you honestly deserve the world, I’m your biggest supporter and I know you are mine.”
“I’ll protect you. You make me the happiest man alive, you’re special, never change, I love you.”
Molly replied to Tom’s post: “You’re the best I love you! Miss you, can’t wait to see you!”
Fans rushed to comment on Tom’s declaration of love, with one saying he’s “fallen hard”.
“O not me crying at insta post at 8 in the morning! ‘I’ll protect you’ Happy birthday Molly! Tom, take a bow …. What a post!” said another.
“You two saying you love each other just made me heart grow three sizes,” echoed a third.
Molly and Tom appeared on Sophie Habboo and Melissa Tattam’s Wednesdays podcast.
Tom was asked which Islander was the snakiest, to which he responded “Probably Georgia Steel.”
Georgia spoke about the dig in an interview with The Sun: “I haven’t heard from Molly or Tom since leaving the villa but, yeah, that’s upsetting,” Georgia says.
“I think it’s disappointing as we all know how it is coming out of the villa, we know the heat we get and it’s been shown that I got a lot of hate. It does make me sad for sure.
“I feel some people I went through that experience with are still targeting me and that’s rubbish. I am a bit gutted about it to be honest.”
Molly recently revealed that Tom had ‘moved in with her’.
Gushing about her romance to OK! Molly revealed: “Tom is basically moving in to mine at the moment.
“He was planning on moving back up north from London anyway, so he’s now in the process of moving all of his stuff in and yeah we’re basically living together.”
“So, we haven’t really spent much time apart, to be honest,” she added.
