YOLANDE Trueman will continue to battle on in the wake of her sexual assault from the evil Pastor Gideon Clayton.
She was left aghast after the trusted Pastor forcefully touched her inappropriately during her community centre charity fundraiser.
The moment left fans demanding that he die as they reeled at viewing such horrific scenes.
The attack rocked Yolande’s world and she has been finding a way of coming to grips with it whilst keeping it all bottled up.
However, it does not take long for her behaviour to begin raising eyebrows among her clan.
When Yolande starts admitting she is questioning her faith, her family begin to fear as though something is truly wrong.
In upcoming scenes, Yolande expresses that she no longer wants to follow her faith during an emotional conversation with jean slater.
Their chat takes place in the Laundrette, the same place that she told Elaine about her harrowing sex attack.
However, Jean offers up some food for thought which makes Yolande reconsider her decision.
She soon decides that she would like to organise Jordan’s baptism but Chelsea Fox is unimpresses.
Chelsea blasts Yolande and insists that she butt out of her and her son’s life for good.
The shock outburst stuns Yolande but Denise and Patrick later insist to Chelsea that she make amends with Yolande.
Having made amends, Chelsea bumps into Pastor Clayton and asks him to take the lead on the baptism plans and he invited her for a quiet word about it at thecommunity centre.
As Yolande heads to chat to Chelsea, Denise tells her that she’s in a meeting with Pastor Clayton.
Frightened, Yolande storms over to interrupt them and demand Chelsea leave.
Her behaviour causes concern among the family as they decide she needs to seek a doctor’s professional help.
Pastor Clayton continues to make Yolande feel uneasy and he forbids her from having anything to do with Jordan’s baptism.
Later, Yolande obsessively prays as she looks to forget what occurred to her but in the process lets the hob catch on fire after she forgot about it.
The smoke alarm soon sounds and Patrick becomes deeply concerned that she is not okay.
