CHLOE Burrows has been left in tears after her brand new documentary about showmances hit the small screen.
The Love Island star, 28, snapped a selfie while travelling in a cab and she had tears rolling down her face.
Chloe went to great lengths for her show Love In The Limelight: UNTOLD and even had a go at faking a relationship herself.
The programme has now dropped on Channel 4 On Demand and Chloe found herself crying after reading the positive responses to it.
Posting the snap on Instagram, Chloe told her followers: “Crying happy tears in the back of this cab cos I’m already overwhelmed by the response. Love u lot xxxx.”
She added: “P.S. I know I said I’d never post a vid crying but happy tears are allowed!”
Love In The Limelight: UNTOLD dropped on Channel 4’s streaming service on Wednesday (April 24).
It sees Chloe exploring what it is like for well-known celebrities who live out their romances directly in the public eye.
Chloe even went on a series of ‘dates’ with Too Hot To Handle hunk Harry Johnson, but it can now be revealed it was all for the cameras.
The 2021 Love Islander was trying to get pictures of herself and Harry in the press to see if it would lead to the pair being able to cash in on paid-for interviews and brand deals.
Chloe told us: “I’ve wanted to do a documentary for a while, just to explore a different avenue and I think it was really important that there was something, number one, that I had experience in so I could relate to, but then also something that was relevant and had been untold.”
The star picked Harry to take part because he wasn’t “too close to home” and already had a “healthy” following.
But she wasn’t prepared for just what an impact their showmance would have – and as well as ending up in the media, Harry ended up with a 18k more followers.
Chloe’s showmance with Harry was so realistic, however, that even her nan thought it was real.
“My nana cos, she loves the press,” Chloe told us.
“She’s 75 but she, like, she reads newspapers and checks online and she was like, ‘Who’s this man you’re with?'”
Chloe, who previously had a public romance with Toby Aromolaran after meeting him on Love Island, admitted she will be more wary in the future now she knows just how many followers someone could gain by dating her.
Asked if it was scary, she said: “I was so shocked by that, I had never thought of that – that being with someone on Love Island would give you followers but it is definitely something to consider in the future. Do you want me or do you want 18,000 followers?”
