She captioned the shot: “Over the last few months I have been working closely with @littleladylocks charity.
“In this time I have met some incredibly brave and inspiring girls and have seen first hand the lengths @ashley_marie_hair goes to for them, helping regain their confidence after hair loss.
“I have seen how much these wigs have made a positive impact on their lives, and have since made it my mission to help as many girls as I can.
“So yesterday I decided to cut all my hair off- to create a wig for a little girl who needs it. I’m determined to spread awareness of this beautiful charity and hope you all see my dedication to this cause.”
She continued: “But it is not as simple as cutting off my hair. It costs the charity £500 to pay the wig makers to turn my hair into a wig!!!
“That’s why this charity desperately needs our help. It broke my heart when @ashley_marie_hair told me she was close to shutting down because they just don’t have the money or support.
“Let’s get the funds to get all the referrals seen to this month so the girls don’t have to wait any longer to feel like themselves again. Please help me spread the word.”
Kaz then revealed she would be running the Manchester Marathon tomorrow and asked her fans to show their support for a good cause however possible.
She said: “There are now 26 girls on that waiting list who currently really need our help. This really means a lot to me and I won’t stop until we have put a smile on all their faces.”
She concluded: “P.S After my mum met the girls and heard all of their stories, she decided last minute to do the same.
“What a legend, my inspiration always. Me and my mum will be combining our hair to make the wig. Remember every little helps! Thank you x.”
Kaz shared a second picture alongside her mum who had a matching buzz cut, while joined by some of the girls who had suffered hair loss and potentially waiting for a wig.
Her haircut comes a year after she opened up about her battle with alopecia, which had caused bald patches around her hairline.
