DANNII MINOGUE and her cast of singletons have promised her new all-girl dating show will make Noughties drama The L Word look tame.

The singer will oversee the action on the new BBC series I Kissed A Girl, as she returns to the Italian country home, the hub of last year’s I Kissed A Boy, this time with ten women looking for love.

The ladies meet their match for the first time with a kiss, before deciding whether to stick with their chosen lover, or switch things up with another singleton.

All the while, new girls will be thrown into the mix to test whether heads can be turned – and whether they will still pick their partner at the ‘kiss off’.

And with little inhibitions in sight, Dannii has warned that the series will heat up, and quickly.

She teased ahead of the first episode, which airs May 5 on BBC Three: “The girls are searching for love with inhibitions left at home, and we watch it all unfold in the sun-soaked Italian landscape.

“In my role as cupid, I always hope that an attraction sparks with such intensity that it leads to a lasting relationship, but my lips are sealed whether that happens in this series.

“One thing I can tell you is that it was the ultimate lesbian summer holiday that the girls loved, I got the feeling that they didn’t want it to end.”

The line-up includes a professional footballer, a fire-breather and a touring musician, who have also warned that they won’t hold back when it comes to their summer of fun.

Amy, 24, said: “I used to beg for a tiny drop of WLW which more often than not left me and many others parched – but this series, we’re leaving so one dry, so to speak.

“There is s**t tonnes of gay panic and The L Word levels of drama – and from me, boobs and banter.”

While Naee, 25, added: “Emotions are on high, with drama, love, heartbreak, fun, and laughter – viewers can expect their heads to be glued to the TV, it is that good.”

And to make things even more interesting, for one girl, it marks their first experience dating a woman.

Demi, 23, admitted: “You can expect unfiltered thoughts, bad flirting and a great pair of boobs from me – unapologetically myself.”

While Dannii is in and out of the masseria as the host of the dating show, the singletons have admitted they want her to stick around and take part in the show.

Not only so they can flirt with the cupid-playing presenter, but choose her for a smooch in the kiss off.

Priya, 25, said: “Every time we saw her, the girls would be practically drooling – me included.”

Co-star Lisha, 22, added of her hopes to plant a kiss of the singer: “It was Dannii who was remarkably beautiful and angelic – it’s a shame I couldn’t turn around for her.”

I Kissed A Girl airs from May 5 on iPlayer and BBC Three
