Opening the show, he said: “A lot has changed since the last series, I’ve got some news which is that I have a girlfriend.
“I’ve talked about being bisexual for years but people presume I’m homosexual based on my entire personality…yes I’ve got a girlfriend and people have been very nice about it.”
Joe previously revealed his ideal partner would be “someone to lie there with eating chocolate. That’s the dream”.
The funnyman stopped short of revealing anymore details about his new love interest.
Meanwhile, during the show Joe was forced to apologise to viewers as Danny Dyer made an appearance.
The former EastEnders actor, 46, went in on ex-Prime Minister David Cameron in a sweary rant.
Host Lycett reminded Dyer how he famously branded Cameron a t**t on Good Evening Britain – a one-off late night version of the ITV Daytime show in 2018.
He then asked the actor if there was anyone else he now wanted to call the word.
Dyer said: “I think I’d like top retract that. No I don’t want to call him a t**t, I want to call him a c**t.”
A giggling Lycett appeared to receive a prompt in his earpiece and said: “I’ll apologise, I’ll apologise.”
