She was back on screen after taking a week off from the programme but one viewer was left worrying for the stars health after her mysterious break.

Carol looked dazzling as she wowed many BBC Breakfast viewers in a striking low-cut floral top.

The TV star is often showered in compliments thanks to her impeccable dress sense and stunning outfit choices so early in the morning.

Today was no different with Carol being inundated with messages about her striking beauty.

One adoring fan said to the weathercaster: “Looking very beautiful in that blouse shows your gorgeous curves off perfectly.”

Whilst another said: “Beautiful smile.”

However, another fan was left questioning if she was okay after insisting that she delivered the morning report with a “croaky voice”.

They said to Carol: “Good morning. You sounded a little croaky this morning hope your OK.”

The comments come after Carol vanished from the programme without explaination.

Carol first went missing from the show after an on-air ‘spat’ with Naga Munchetty who told the star to “crack on” during a fiercely tense moment.

Viewers picked up on their tension and were quick to call it out online.

Before her week-long absence, Carol, as well as Jon Kay, had already faced comments about the state of her voice with worried for her “croaking” began to surface then.

The day before that exchange, she expressed concern about her voice being “ropey” amid the newfound fears for the star’s health.

BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One and iPlayer.
