LOOKS like new This Morning host Cat Deeley got something of a dressing down for presenting on Monday in T-shirt and jeans.
Viewers got shirty, with one tweeting during the ITV show: “WTF whatever she’s wearing on her legs looks like used Bacofoil.”
Another wrote: “Why are Ben and Cat dressed up in shirts? It’s f**ing miserable in London! #ThisMorning.”
Next day Cat, who joined last month with Ben Shephard, opted for a smarter shirt dress and on Wednesday for a blazer-style tunic and leather trousers.
A source said: “There were a few raised eyebrows by Cat’s outfit choice on Monday as it was so casual.
“It was a good thing there was no politician booked on the show to be interviewed or any breaking news.
“It’s important to dress professionally. She appeared smarter as the week wore on.”
Viewers appear to be quickly tiring of Cat and Ben, with Friday hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary being asked to take over by fans.
When Alison posted a picture of her and Dermot dancing on social media, a flurry of people rushed to comment.
One said: “Please you and Dermot to be the main presenters. What is wrong with the producers are they blind? Come bring the fun guys.”
Meanwhile, another said: “I cannot understand why these two aren’t the main hosts. Mind-boggling.”
A spokeswoman for Cat, 47, declined to comment.
