TOWIE legend James ‘Arg’ Argent today showed off his incredible weight loss by baring his abs to take an ice bath.
It comes after the reality star, 36, recently revealed he is desperate to gain weight.
Today James posted a video of him bravely plunging into an ice bath.
The TV star can be seen on the balcony of Dubai’s Isla Uae which is known for its plunge pools.
Steeping into the icy tub, Arg showed off his washboard abs.
As he took a dip in the freezing water he could be heard saying; “Come on let’s go, let’s go!”
It comes after James said he wanted to eat more to gain weight after losing 14 stone two years ago.
Reflecting on how far he’s come, he said last month: “I think you’ve got to be quite careful if it’s about someone looking healthy.
“I think – I used to say to myself, ‘the more weight you lose the better,” so the skinnier you are the better, but that isn’t actually the case because there are times when you’re too skinny.”
James added: “And even now I’m trying to up my protein a little bit and trying to gain a little bit more.”
His past battle with drink, drugs and a binge-eating disorder has been well documented over the years.
James needed life-saving gastric sleeve surgery after struggling to control his weight.
He confessed he became “isolated, very lonely and hit rock bottom” in 2019, and he was rushed to hospital twice while his weight became a problem as it escalated to 27st.
However, in April 2021, the reality star, who until recently was dating Stella Turian, had life-saving gastric sleeve surgery and lost 13st.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, James said: “This is the first time in my life that I like the way I look too – I don’t feel ugly anymore – I’m content and happy with my appearance.
“The only problem now is I’ve lost a little bit too much weight and I need to put on half a stone.”

Meanwhile, James recently revealed he’s “lonely and struggling” after splitting from girlfriend Stella Turian.
It was revealed late last year that Arg and 19-year-old actress Stella had gone their separate ways after a year together.
Arg confessed he found he hard to adjust to single life and particularly struggled on Valentine’s Day this year.
He told the My Dirty Laundry podcast: “I’m in a really good place. Everything in my life is perfect, apart from my love life.
“It would be nice if that would change. I’ll be completely honest, this year I really struggled on Valentine’s Day.”
He added: “I remember, I woke up and thought, I am not going to look at social media.
“It’s not that I’m heartbroken or upset, but just because I knew it’s not going to make me feel great because I didn’t have a Valentine, I don’t have a girlfriend.”
Stella is based in the Italian mountains, where she lives on a ski resort and it was reported that the long-distance relationship became too hard for them.
An insider said: “Throughout the summer it became increasingly difficult for them to meet up due to their work commitments.
“There are no hard feelings between them, they still follow each other on Instagram, and James is even invited to come out to ski with Stella and family early next year.
