However, she won’t be going out quietly as she discovers a major bombshell that could change the course of her partner George’s relationship with his sister Glenda for good.
George and Glenda have enjoyed a close sibling relationship but it appears to be threatened when Eileen exposes a secret that her son Todd has discovered.
In upcoming scenes, Glenda pops over to No. 11 with her washing and to have a catch-up with Eileen and George.
George then makes the shock admission that he has decided to update his will as his romance with Eileen grows stronger and stronger.
He offers Eileen power of attorney, a decision that leaves Glenda disgusted.
She soon storms out amid their fallout as it becomes clear that Todd has perked up to George’s news.
Suspicious, Eileen calls at the funeral parlour where she sees Todd plying George with mounds of biscuits in an attempt to drum up some good points with his boss.
Later, she discovers that Todd has managed to get his hands on the new and improved will – bit that is not all.
As it confirms that Todd will gain the business should anything happen to George, a copy of his late father, Archie Shuttleworth’s will is lying right beside it.
As Eileen and Todd take a look, they discover a shocking secret as it confirms George and Glenda should have had joint ownership of the funeral home.
Eileen finishes packing for Thailand and gets ready to leave but before she does, she tells George about this and he sets off in search of Todd.
As George peruses his Dad’s will, Todd does his best to play down its importance.
Will George tell Glenda the truth?
