ROBERT Peston had to think fast after his self-titled show suffered a technical blunder.
Peston, a political discussion programme, returned to ITV on Wednesday evening (April 17th).

Co-presenterAnushka Asthana ran into some technical trouble while attempting to display a poll featured earlier in the show.
She was using “Screeny”, the show’s large touchscreen with social media interaction.
As the deputy political editor of ITV went to touch the screen, the poll results were already displayed.
Anuskha said: “Oh, what’s happening here?” while attempting to salvage the situation.
Unfortunately, Screeny had other ideas as the blunder persisted, “Oh gosh, oh Screeny. Sorry, one sec, let me try again”, Anushka said.
The star made one last attempt with Screeny to no joy, telling the others: “We’ve got a Screeny glitch”, to which Robert replied: “What should we do? We’ll come back to you. We’ll fix it!”
The second part of Robert Peston’s interview with former Prime Minister Liz Truss played while they tried to overcome the mishap.
