SHAUGHNA Phillips has hit back after being mum-shamed for a “dangerous” parenting move with baby girl Lucia.
The former Love Island star, 29, announced last April she’d welcomed her first child with ex-boyfriend Billy Webb.

Shaughna told fans: “She’s taken her first steps the last couple days, and we’re packed away the Doona and got a big girl car seat.”
But some followers were left concerned over her daughter’s safety and said a front facing car seat was not appropriate for her age.
In response, the mum-of-one hit back and said: “Woah. My inbox has been blown up regarding being forward facing in her car seat.
“The reason I put her forward was because her legs were so squashed in her Doona up against the chair.
“I checked the forward facing/rear facing table that came with the car seat and for her height/weight it said she could be forward facing.”
After carrying out some research, Shaughna reassured fans: “I’ve looked on the Gov website and it’s 15 months+ in a height based seat and different for a weight based seat.
“Her car seat is a 360 swivel and has extended rear facing, so going to turn her around next time we’re in the car and see how we get on.
“Thank you for the advice”.
This is not the first time that Shaughna has been forced to respond to mum-shamers.
In August, Shaughna shared a sweet snap of little Lucia trying baby porridge – and was inundated with messages insisting it’s too soon.
The NHS recommends introducing your baby to solid food when they’re around six months old and to never start before four months.
Explaining Lucia is “only having a few little spoons here and there”, Shaughna added: “I’m also no expert (like some out there HEHE) and every baby is different, so do whatever at your own pace and check with your midwife if you’re unsure.”
Hitting back at the mum-shamers, Shaughna said in a clip posted to her Instagram story: “Honestly, you would think that I’ve started telling people that I’m making Lucia’s bottles with vodka now instead of water.
“She’s trying four to six months porridge and she’s just over four months, she’s 18 weeks. So you can report me to the police but I think I’ll get no further action, thanks huns.”
