A SHOCK affair has been teased on Emmerdale between Manpreet Sharma and a married villager.
Manpreet was left mortified in a recent episode when her partner Charles Anderson proposed in the pub.
Away from their neighbours, she told the vicar she was happy with how their relationship currently was.
But in upcoming Emmerdale scenes, that doesn’t totally seem to be the case.
Billy Fletcher starts up his PT and fitness business again but it’s a bit of a shaky start given how much he and Dawn are coping with at home.
By doing his classes Manpreet soon realises she has a crush on Billy.
When Billy is giving Manpreet a physical training session he is too preoccupied with his own relationship to notice she’s flirting with him.
Later, despite her efforts, Manpreet’s left dejected by Charles’ lack of interest.
But motivated by Billy, she wonders if a dinner date could be the answer to her issues with Charles.
Will the meal do the trick? Or will her head continue to be turned by hunky Billy?
Fans already suspect an affair could be on the cards between the pair.
Taking to X – formerly Twitter – one wrote: “Bet she’s going to have an affair.”
Another added: “Billy and Manpreet… just putting it out there.”
A third surmised: “Billy and Manpreet affair when?”
Although it is clear that Manpreet wants Billy, the PT will have more on his plate when his family is rocked with shocking news.
Billy and Dawn welcomed son Evan just before Christmas, but in upcoming scenes they will be left devastated when their baby boy is diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.
