The TV star has now gone on to become an extremely successful businessman after being “hired” by Lord Alan Sugar.

Who is Tim Campbell?

Born on September 27, 1975, Tim Campbell is a British businessman who worked for Lord Alan Sugar in the mid-2000s.

A Middlesex University psychology graduate, he was once Project Director of Amstrad’s Health and Beauty division, before co-founding charity Bright Ideas Trust in 2007, alongside public affairs consultant Richard Morris.

Tim was also a Social Enterprise Ambassador during a government initiative aiming to apply modern solutions to social and environmental issues.

In 2012, he received an MBE for his services to Enterprise Culture.

Tim co-founded digital marketing agency Marketing Runners Ltd with Derin Cag, in 2016, which he continues to run.

His winner’s prize saw him work for Lord Sugar for a year, earning a salary of £100,000.

An hour-long documentary was made based on his new job, titled The Apprentice: Tim In The Firing Line, which was broadcast in February 2006.

Is Tim Campbell married?

Tim married wife Jasmine on July 12, 2008, after meeting in 1997.

On Instagram, he tends to refer to her as “Mrs C”.

She goes by the Instagram handle @j4zzyC and regularly posts snaps of celebration and family life.

The couple are parents to two children, Kayla and Aaron.

Aaron was born on November 8, 2009.

Kayla, who was born on June 8, 2001, finished studying at the University of York in May 2022.

When did Tim Campbell replace Claude Littner on The Apprentice?

In 2022 Tim stepped in for Claude Littner as one of Alan Sugar’s interviewers on season 16 of The Apprentice.

The decision was made after Claude badly injured his right leg, back in April 2021, following an accident.

Claude has said that his injury was so bad, doctors considered amputating his leg.

Tim stepped in again step in for Claude in the 17th season.

He is back again for season 18, which kicks off on February 1, 2024.

Speaking about what he thinks about Lord Sugar, Tim told the BBC: “I’m biased, I’ve got so much time for him!

“I’m once again in that unique position where not only did I go through on one side of the table in terms of vying to be his apprentice and then work for him for two years in his business as he taught me a huge amount about business, but then go off and do my own stuff and then come back on the other side of the table now.

“I’ve seen him from a lot of different angles.”
