A NEW character just arrived on the infamous ITV street, but already some are not impressed.
As Paul (Peter Ash) continues to deteriorate from Motor neurone disease, Summer Spellman has returned to the cobbles to provide some comfort.

Summer (Harriet Bibby) came back home from her travels as she looked almost unrecognisable with a new style.
She greeted her former guardian Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) as she debuted her new bangs on the show.
She returned to the flat to also see Paul who is rapidly declining after his battle with Motor neurone disease.
All was not well as he struggles to speak, but he fell down the stairs after he attempted to get used to his new equipment.
However, Summer came home with news, she has a new boyfriend named Felix who is anxiously waiting to meet them.
After the accident, the new character was brought up to the flat to meet the family as even Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) made his way over.
However, Coronation Street fans were clearly not impressed by Summer’s new beau as they took to social media in their droves.
One fan wrote: “Summer’s boyfriend looks like a right drip! .”
“Summer please get rid of that boyfriend he’s cringing me the f*** out,” exclaimed a second viewer.
As a third put: “Summer’s boyfriend is an absolute plonker!”
“Wow, Summer’s boyfriend is appropriately dull,” stated a fourth user.
Meanwhile, a fifth fan noted: “Summers boyfriend is already doing my head in.”
And a sixth watcher noted the lack of personality of the character as they joked: “Thought Summer had hired a non-speaking extra to be her boyfriend for a moment there!”
