UPCOMING scenes in EastEnders will see Callum Highway make a startling discovery.
The police officer – played by Tony Clay – starts to grow suspicious of longtime friends during an investigation.

Ben left Walford in scenes aired earlier this year, as the character was extradited to America.
Scenes yet to air will see Callum turn his attention to investigating Keanu Taylor’s murder further.
Keanu (played by Danny Walters) was killed off in dramatic fashion when Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) stabbed him with a meat thermometer.
The incident occurred as Keanu tried to attack his fiancee and Linda’s best friend, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).
Poetically, Linda had once helped save Keanu’s life, working with Martin Fowler, when Keanu originally departed Walford in 2020.
The now-deceased Keanu had learned his supposed son Albie was actually Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden).
As a result, he and Sharon called off their planned wedding while Keanu was left furious.
While Linda was the one who physically committed murder, the killing was also covered up by the other members of The Six (Sharon, Kathy Beale, Stacey Slater, Suki Panesar and Denise Fox).
In present day, Callum’s suspicions are piqued by a comment Linda makes – prompting him to look further.
The police officer and former soldier has a long history with Linda and the Carter family, having been friends with her son Lee (Danny-Boy Hatchard) as a teenager.
In fact, Callum’s debut back in 2018 saw him accidentally shoot Mick Carter (Danny Dyer), having not recognised him at first.
The spoilers also include Sharon convincing Callum to ask Phil to join Ben’s prison call.
However, Sharon abruptly leaves when Callum starts asking questions about Keanu and Dean Wicks, who has been framed for the crime.

Later, Sharon is rattled after bumping into Callum in the café, where he announces he’s speaking to the detectives who investigated Keanu’s murder about the case.
Fellow policeman Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), who knows about The Six’s secret, speaks to Callum and tries to professionally deter him from Linda.
However, the pub landlady’s son Johnny (Charlie Suff) isn’t convinced this is enough and later uses Ben’s absence to try and dissuade Callum.
