LOTTIE Moss has sparked rumours that she’s signed up for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The sister of supermodel Kate Moss revealed her unlikely friendship with head judge Shirley Ballas during a social media exchange.
Lottie Moss has hinted that she’s signed up to the next series of Strictly[/caption]Shirley, 63, posted a string of snaps from her seven years on the BBC dancing show and said she was chuffed to be returning for an eight series.
Lottie commented underneath with two red love hearts and wrote: “My queen.”
Shirley was quick to respond, writing: “My princess,” followed by a string of red hearts.
The friendly interaction has left fans wondering if model Lottie is set to swap the catwalk for the dancefloor.
Shirley shared a lengthy post as she announced she would be back.
She shared: “Feeling very grateful to be returning for my 8th series as Head Judge on BBC Strictly.
“I cannot wait to be back behind the desk with my fellow judges Motsi, Craig and Anton. 8 series later and I still get all excited when Strictly season comes around.
“I’m blessed each year when I’m asked back. It’s a real honour to be part of a show that brings joy to so many families across those dark nights.”
She added: “Are you all looking forward to the new series?
“Who would you like to see put on their dancing shoes? Ahhh it’ll sure be very exciting and full of surprises as we celebrate 20 years of the best show on TV.
“Hold onto your hats.”
It comes after BBC presenter Gethin Jones seemingly dropped a major hint at one of the contestant’s this year.
He offered up clues on the programme this morning alongside his co-star, and former Strictly competitor, Helen Skelton.
It all came as Gethin and Helen previewed what was to come up on their Manchester-based show to fellow BBC stars Sally Nugent and Jon Kay on BBC Breakfast.
The programme’s hosts confirmed they would be chatting to BBC News and Mastermind host Clive Myrie all about his latest travel series when Gethin made the very telling comment.
Speaking to the camera, Helen said: “Clive Myrie tells us about heading to the Caribbean for his new travel series and if busting moves to Jamaican dance hall music has inspired him to consider Strictly.”
Gethin then suggested that Clive would be up for saying yes to the show on the basis he believed that he had the best moves among any of the BBC News staff.
Clive could be in good company after The Sun revealed how blind comedian Chris McCausland is set to join the dancing contest.
Comic and CBeebies actor Chris, 46, lost his sight aged 22 due to a hereditary condition.
Producers are certain the 46-year-old CBeebies actor’s fun-loving personality will prove a hit with viewers — and he cannot wait to embrace the challenge.
As well as Chris, 80s star Toyah Wilcox has also agreed to take on the ballroom.
But their signings could be dwarfed by rumours Girls Aloud popstar Nicola Roberts is considering giving the programme a go off the back of the group’s mammoth sell-out arena tour.
If Nicola were to head to the ballroom, she would be one of the biggest names the show has signed up in recent years.
