LOVE Island is set to sign a Premier League star’s brother to ruffle feathers in the villa.
It looks like the boys are going to have to up their game if they’re to keep themselves in the line-up.
Wil Anderson could be the next lad to enter the Love Island villa[/caption] His brother Elliott plays or Newcastle United[/caption]Bosses have their eyes on Wil Anderson – brother of Newcastle United midfielder Elliot Anderson – to add some extra spice to the series.
ITV has been contacted for comment.
Gym fan Wil, from Whitley Bay, has been hitting workouts hard recently and just last week hinted at something big coming.
Showing off his muscular tattooed body in a topless selfie, he flexed and wrote the caption: “Loading…”
He hasn’t posted online since.
Keen for a boozy holiday with the lads, Wil’s social media account shows him living it up in Ibiza and Bali.
He’s even made trips to every Love Islander’s favourite Balearic haunt O Beach.
Wil’s brother Elliott, 21, is a Newcastle United midfielder and Scotland international at youth and U21 level.
In 2022 he spent time on loan at Bristol Rovers before being recalled to his parent club.
The experience stood him in good stead and he has made his presence felt on the pitch at the top level, even playing against Manchester United this year.
One lad in particular who might not be too keen on Wil’s arrival is Munveer Jabbal.
He’s kept a low-profile so far and hasn’t had as much screen time as the likes of Ronnie Vint and Joey Essex.
There have been grumblings from some fans that he’s only there for a free holiday and has now taken to faking feelings for Jess White to prolong his stay.
However, others are blaming the edit for not doing him justice and want him to feature more prominently in group challenges.
Last night they complained: “Even in these challenges they don’t show Munveer justice for him.”
Someone else raged: “Damn they didn’t show Munveer doing the challenge? harsh :(.”
Wil likes to party and would be an interesting addition to the show[/caption]Love Island line-up 2024
