EASTENDERS fans have offered up ideas how baddie Nish Panesar could live to fight another day.

The character – played by Navin Chowdhry – has featured in the BBC soap since 2022.

Nish was introduced on-screen towards the end of his prison sentence and later moved to Albert Square to join his family.

An ongoing storyline, however, could lead to the abuser’s imminent death.

It was revealed Nish is suffering from viral myocarditis, which occurs when heart muscle becomes inflamed.

A doctor informed the villain that a transplant is his best chance of survival.

Meanwhile, a sinister scene saw Nish tell Priya (Sophie Khan Levy), mother of his grandchildren, that she wouldn’t be getting a penny of his money.

Viewers have been writing online about how the character could avoid his impending fate and remain on the show.

Taking to Reddit, a fan suggested members of Nish’s own family could be crucial in ensuring the Panesar patriarch isn’t killed off.

They wrote: “Me and my mum think that one of Nish’s blood relatives (Ravi or Vinny) will get in a fatal accident and his heart will be given to Nish via the transplant that has been mentioned multiple times in hospital scenes.

“We think it will be Vinny who dies, as when Nish asks if Vinny is only trying to get his money, he replies “I swear on my life”, presumably foreshadowing his death.

“Not confirmed or anything but just a theory.”

It appears fellow viewers have been left divided by the suggestion.

One commented: “It’s a great theory but I hope for Suki sake it doesn’t happen as she’d lose another child.”

Another added: “Nish will get a heart donor secretly but not tell anyone.

“Everyone will continue sucking up to him and all the while, with the new heart in place, he will live longer and torture everyone.”

A third penned: “The fact that Vinny doesn’t have much of any storylines of his own and that Nish is such a good bad guy tells me that this is an excellent theory.”
