DAISY May Cooper has given birth to her little boy and revealed the tot’s adorable name in a sweet social media post.
The comedian, 37, has welcomed her third child, little Benji, and made public the happy news on Instagram – as well as opening up on the “scary” birth.
The Sun exclusively revealed her pregnancy in March.
Daisy‘s son came into the world on Thursday, yet the This Country star revealed it wasn’t an entirely smooth delivery.
She uploaded shots showing her in a hospital gown in a bed at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
In her caption, she wrote: “What a bloody week…
“You came a bit earlier than we expected and gave me the worst post op constipation that I nearly had to phone the Samaritans but my god you are perfect.”
She added: “I cannot thank @deliverysuitegrh enough. The way you looked after us through such a scary time was above and beyond.
“You are all bloody superstars. I am so blessed.”
Daisy rounded off her adorable post with the words: “Welcome to the world little Benji, ya nutter Born 06/06/24.”
In March, we told how the tot was due in July – so he has arrived a month before expected.
In some of the images, he is seen in a specialist cot, while others capture Benji wrapped in a purple blanket and with breathing equipment.
He has clearly had plenty of cuddles from mum Daisy and her partner, his dad, DJ Anthony Huggins.
Daisy and the DJ were recently spotted enjoying a shopping spree for baby goodies prior to welcoming their first child.
HAPPY TIMES
Daisy recently moved into a home in the Cotswolds, which will make for the perfect family pad when she arrives back with Benji.
She already shares two children daughter – Pip, five, and three-year-old son Jack with her ex husband Will Weston.
Three months ago, a source exclusively told The Sun: “Daisy is pregnant and is really excited to become a mum for the third time with her new partner.
“The pair have been going strong, so the addition of a baby will only bring them closer together.
They added: “Daisy is currently very happy and becoming a mum again is what she is focusing on right now.
“She was living in the Cotswolds and ready to start this new chapter.”
