LOVE Island fans were left annoyed after one star got evicted from the villa but another survived being axed under similar circumstances.

Sam Taylor lost his space on the ITV show in a matter of days when bombshell Joey Essex swooped in and got with his romantic partner,  Samantha Kenny.

This left him single and vulnerable at the next recoupling ceremony and he was told to pack his bags.

However, when Mimii Ngulube was left standing on her own after all the other Islanders partnered up, she got a text inviting her on a date with a new bombshell.

Some viewers pointed out that the two Islanders were not given the same treatment.

One person moaned: “Sorry but why was Sam dumped without a date, but Mimii gets a date? How sexist.”

Another added: “Agreed. So unfortunate.”

A third wrote: “100% agree, it’s out of order. Not fair. Hope he comes back.”

However, others argued in support of the decision made by show bosses, with one saying: “It’s not sexist it’s a game, plus Sam comes back in Casa anyway.”

This refers to the speculation that Sam will make a reappearance during Casa Amor, as he told co-stars he would “see them soon” when he left the villa.

A second chimed in saying they do think the Love Island producers have a plan to save him.

They wrote: “Due to public demand I feel they may bring him back as a shock bombshell to steal a gal. That would be good TV.”
