LOVE Island’s first recoupling sent shockwaves through the villa as the new bombshell SAVED one of the girl from being dumped.
The boys had to pick who they wanted to couple up with during this evening’s instalment of the ITV2 show.
Munveer Jabbal was last to choose out of the guys – and he picked Patsy Field.
Mimii Ngulube then received a text that told her she is single, followed by another one telling her she was going to go on a date.
She read: “Mimi you are no single, Omar is waiting to meet you for your first date.”
The Islanders were over the moon to see she had a spring in her step as she walked out of the villa to meet the newbie.
But her love interest Ayo Odukoya – who was picked by Uma Jammeh – didn’t seem too impressed…
As Mimii walked out she mimed thank you to the cameras.
Those watching at home were so happy to see her get told she was going on a date.
One wrote on X: “Ik that’s f**king right. Mimii get your man.”
Another added: “Mimii’s reaction is everything!!”
“So happy for Mimii she manifested and Ayo looks upset,” a third chimed in.
Uma’s arrival in the villa earlier this week certainly put a spanner in the works between Mimii and Ayo.
The pair were getting on like a house on fire until the model arrived on Wednesday night when she snogged all six of the boys as the girls watched on.
She took Ayo to the Hideaway to get to know him and Mimii broke down in tears.
Love Island fans demanded that he was to be AXED from the villa after he lied to Uma about Mimii.

While Mimii shed a tear over the situation, Ayo flirted like crazy with Uma, and even told her that she was his “set menu”.
He also told her that he had made it clear to Mimii that he was interested in getting to know other people – however that had never happened.
Although Mimii was visibly upset about Ayo and Uma, Omar could be what she’s looking for.
And the hunk has a surprising celebrity connection.
He is also mutual friends with rapper and Love Island host Maya Jama‘s boyfriend Stormzy.
