EMMERDALE has aired a shock stabbing tonight for Samson Dingle with a horrifying twist.
The troubled teenager – who is played by actor Sam Hall in the ITV soap – has become involved with a thuggish lout called Josh who has been making enemies in the hours since he arrived.
Samson was stabbed in tonight’s episode and blamed Matty instead of Josh[/caption]Josh first began to make suggestive comments to Samson’s cousin Sarah Sugden and invited her on a date.
But after he behaved terribly and presented her with a baked potato, she left to go back to work.
And at The Hide, Josh soon began making inappropriate about Amy Barton – openly hitting on her in front of her husband Matty.
Amy was so uncomfortable she left, leaving Matty to close up himself.
At first Samson told him to stop but very quickly he turned on Matty himself by telling Josh that he’s transgender.
In a sickening turn of events Josh began being openly transphobic, using Matty’s deadname and mocking him.
And then Josh tried to rob the place, demanding the cash out of the till – and Samson agreed, shouting at Matty to hand over the cash.
Matty took the sensible approach and told them to go away and began clearing up, picking up a tray and a knife.
Josh then violently pushed Samson at Matty and he was stabbed.
But as he lay bleeding on the floor, and Jai walked in, Josh called for an ambulance and told 999 that Matty had attacked them – and Samson let him.
In a further disturbing twist Samson kept quiet as Matty was arrested and dragged into a police car by police.
