SAM Heughan has joked he will woo Taylor Swift when he heads to her Edinburgh gig this weekend.
The Outlanderstar, 44, posted a video saying he hoped to catch the pop star’s eye.
In the clip uploaded to Instagram, Heughan spoke to fans while still in costume as Jamie Fraser.
He revealed many of the cast would be at Murrayfield for the concert.
The star even joked Taylor, 34, would forget all about BF Travis Kelce as soon as she sees him.
Heughan said: “We’re gonna go see Taylor Swift play in Scotland and I think most of the cast is going.
“She obviously doesn’t know this but when she comes to Scotland and she sees me in the audience she’s going to forget all about… him.
“And fall for a man in a ginger wig. How could she resist?
“You know, she’s gonna shake him off and take me out instead, I’m really excited.”
He then made a love heart with his hands as the video ended.
Heughan even joked that his Outlander character Jamie is a massive Swiftie.
He captioned his post: “Welcome to Scotland Taylor!
“JAMMF is a Swiftie”.
Fans loved the humourous clip and even jokingly shipped the pair as a famous couple.
One said: “Shoot your shot, Sam!”
Another replied: “Yes!!! Jamie is a Swiftie!”
A third wrote: “This made my day.”
And a fourth commented: “Ummmm Taylor what are you waiting for?!?!?!?!?!”
Sam and the Outlander cast will be among 220,000 Swifties descending on Edinburgh over the weekend.
Taylor will kick off a three-night run of her Eras tour at Murrayfield tomorrow night.
Workers have been getting everything ready for the highly-anticipated shows.
