A BITTER reality feud has reignited after a I’m A Celeb star slammed their former campmate seven months after their jungle stint.
First Dates star Fred Sirieix didn’t hold back when giving his opinion about politician Nigel Farage on X earlier today.
Fred and Nigel clashed during their time on I’m A Celebrity last year[/caption]The pair starred in the 23rd series of the ITV show last year and they didn’t see eye to eye during their time in camp together.
Today Fred wrote: “I spoke at length and extensively with Nigel Farage for 3 weeks while in the jungle.
“I wanted to make my own mind up about him and his views.
“Conclusion is simple.
“He was very good at washing the dishes in the river but when it comes to politics he has no plan and no substance.”
It comes after earlier today Nigel was drenched again after he had a banana McDonald’s shake thrown at him while leaving his launch event in Clacton today.
It is the second time he has been swilled after he was covered head-to-toe in Newcastle in 2019.
Before I’m A Celeb returned to our screens in November last year, bosses braced themselves for explosive rows between Nigel and Fred after the TV star branded him a ‘coward’.
The two certainly clashed heads in the jungle.
Their‘feud’ was exposed before they stepped down Down Under as Fred took a savage swipe at Nigel on social media.
The First Dates legend reshared a meme that a fan had tagged him in which featured Drake pulling faces.
The first photo of the rapper had him looking away in disgust, with his hand up – gesturing to be left alone.
Beside that picture the fan had written Nigel Farage.
The second snap was Drake smiling and pointing to the camera, with “Fred Sirieix” written next to it.
As the show went on viewers watched as tension between the pair boiled over as the Channel 4 maitre d’hotel confronted the broadcaster over Brexit.
Fred asked Nigel: What’s the benefit of Brexit then? If you are an average person from Britain, what’s the benefit?”
Nigel replied: “To know that we’re independent, we stand on our own two feet in the world.”
To which, Fred exclaimed: “Brexit was about immigration, I remember your poster. I thought it was shameful what you did, Nigel. Shameful.”
Fred was the third celebrity to be voted out of the jungle, while Nigel placed third.
