SHE’S one of the most stunning women on TV but even Maya Jama admits to having a little extra help when it comes to looking hot.
The Love Island host showed off a natural, make-up free look on Sunday singing about a curl in her hair while naked.
Now: Maya pictured ahead of the launch of this year’s Love Island[/caption]She cheekily covered her modesty with white bedsheets after spending four days getting ready for tonight’s launch show at a luxury well-being retreat near St Tropez, France.
While blessed with beautiful skin and glossy hair, the stunner readily admits to the odd non-invasive ‘tweakment’ to enhance her beauty.
Maya’s face has seemingly changed since she first made it big as a red carpet host at the Brit Awards and co-presenting ITV game show Cannonball with ex-cricketer Andrew Flintoff and singer Frankie Bridge in 2017.
The programme failed to win over viewers but they were blown away by Maya whose career has since gone from strength to strength.
Maya has readily shared her beauty secrets with fans and has previously hit out at a Twitter (now X) troll who accused her of having ‘silicone filled’ breasts and suggested she had been under the knife.
Setting the record straight, the presenter , who is dating musician Stormzy, told him: “My boobs are real you Wallad.”
We reveal how Maya’s beauty regime has helped shape her face without undergoing surgery.
Sculpting secret
When it comes to being red carpet ready, Maya uses the same skin expert who treats ex Love Island host Laura Whitmore, singer Jessie J and presenter Rochelle Humes.
Facialist Shane Cooper told in 2020 how he mixes up Maya’s treatments depending on events in her diary – ensuring she glows.
Shane uses machines that work to sculpt, tighten and firm the face.
He said: “She has my bespoke Exclusive Face Treatment and the Aqua Tight, which exfoliates, removes impurities and oxygenates too.”
“We use a lot of radiofrequency for collagen production and, when she has some time off, we often do microneedling.”
Sticking her chin out
Maya was on point in 2021[/caption]She’s all glamour on TV but Maya works hard behind the scenes to keep her jawline sharp – and doesn’t mind looking daft to do it.
In March the TV favourite revealed she spends time looking “like a Who” from Dr Suess’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas while wearing a neon green chin strap.
I’m starting to feel like I’ve got sunburn
Maya on microneedling
In a hilarious TikTok video, the 29-year-old was seen dancing with heatless rollers in her hair, under eye masks and a bright green chin strap.
She said: “So for those of you wondering how I prepare for my live shows…”
Fans flooded her social media to claim they would follow her lead.
Getting the needle
Maya has enhanced her skin with microneedling and other tweakments[/caption] Maya reveals her red raw face after microneedling[/caption]They say there’s no gain without pain and Maya looks to the likes of Victoria Beckham, Holly Willoughby and Jennifer Aniston when it comes to more serious treatments.
She took to Instagram in March after undergoing a session of microneedling, which costs around £300 a time.
The minimally invasive treatment involves needles used to make tiny holes in the top layer of the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production.
Promoting facialist Shane Cooper she was pictured looking flushed, writing: “Hey, so this is immediately after. The numbing cream is wearing off and I’m starting to feel like I’ve got sunburn.
“And, yeah, this is me. Red raw-ish for at least three days. What is it? No sweating, be gentle when I wash my face, no gym. Got some aftercare here.”
Ice Queen
Maya mid-way through her TV career in 2019[/caption]Maya has previously shared a beauty trick that is free for everyone.
She last year told how she de-puffs her face by submerging it in a bowl of ice.
It’s an age-old beauty trick that has regained popularity in recent years thanks to social media and experts say it can help lock in serums, relieve the pain of skin breakouts and tighten and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
She told The Face: “My best kept beauty secret is putting my face in a bowl of ice because it de-puffs. Try it , you’ll thank me.”
Electrifying looks
The beauty is open to trying new things to change up the way she looks and prepared for her first Love Island appearance last year with a facial that uses electrodes.
Experts believe that low-level electrical current can increase blood circulation, promote lymphatic drainage and encourage collagen, which makes the face look younger.
Electrode probes are filled with either Argon, which produces a violet/blue ray or Neon Gas, which emits an orange/red ray.

Whiter than white
Maya isn’t shy about sharing what she goes through to look good.
It’s this honesty that has endeared her to thousands of female fans.
Last January she was snapped reclining on a sofa as a large tube with a blue light was placed inside her mouth to whiten her teeth.
Wearing protective glasses, Maya wrote: “My first teeth whiten”, alongside nervous and red heart emojis.
Fighting fit
Maya refused to be body shamed on TV in 2020[/caption]Maya has been honest about how she works hard to keep toned while retaining the curves that have helped make her famous.
She refuses to be cowed by critics and clapped back at one who called her “obese” and to “go on a diet” while she was presenting BBC One show Peter Crouch: Save Our Summer in 2020.
She fired back at the troll: “Please focus on your vitamin intake.”
One viewer moaned she had “everything hanging out” but Maya clapped back on Twitter: “If you’re uncomfortable with my boobs that’s on you.”
When a viewer tweeted her to say they felt “awkward” watching her on telly, Maya said: “I appreciate your concern. I am able and allowed to dress how I please.”
Maya has told how exercise helps her mental health and how her aim is to get strong. Expert say weight loss can change face shape.
